This CD-ROM contains DAK V_2.4.1.75, i.e., the latest software for all our DAK systems (DAK/DAKS/DAK-TL-P).



IMPORTANT:

We kindly recommend to carefully follow the steps described in this ReadMe 
file to ensure a smooth and successful installation of all software 
components.


This CD or the "DAK_installer" from the download site
https://www.speag.com/downloads/dak/dak-download/
contains the latest software.

NOTE:
It is not necessary to uninstall the previous software version of your DAK system. The current installer provides a complete installation of the new software by saving it in a separate directory to your system’s local hard disk.

STEP 1: DAK (DAK/DAKS/DAK-TL-P) software installation
The software version number can be verified in the “Help” / “About”-menu. 
The version will show as “V2.4.1.75” after a successful installation.

STEP 2: DAK-TL-P Firmware Upgrade
For firmeware version 0.59 or above, please refer to the latest operation manual section 4.5.3 for further upgrade instructions. 

For firmware older that version 0.59, please return the unit to SPEAG Zurich as the main board needs to be replaced for a firmware upgrade. The upgrade is for free. Please contact 
support@speag.com for further details.

STEP 3: Read the new application notes to get familiar with the revised workflows for more accurate dielectric measurements before using the systems
