Dear valued customer,

This file explains how to install DASY8 Module HAC V1.2.4 on DASY8 systems.

IMPORTANT:

We kindly recommend to carefully follow the steps described within this ReadMe 
file in order to achieve a smooth and successful installation of all software 
components.

The "DASY8 Module HAC Installer" from the download site https://speag.swiss/downloads/dasy/dasy6-download-2 contains the latest software.

NOTE:
It is not necessary to uninstall any older versions of DASY8 Module HAC. This installer  provides a complete new installation of DASY8 Module HAC and installs it onto the local harddisk into a separate directory.

STEP 1: DASY8 software installation
The software version number can be verified in the “Help” / “About”-menu. 
The DASY8 Module HAC version will be V1.2.4.4345 after a successful installation. The Jupyter Notebook version displayed in the Log output will be V1.2.4.2179.

STEP 2: Confirm Software Update
On 1st software startup, the following message might be displayed: "New software version is activated. Preference file is updated, please confirm with OK button. If no new version was installed, contact SPEAG (support@speag.swiss) before any further action.". Please confirm by pressing "OK". This message will not longer be displayed afterwards.

STEP 3: Robot / Measurement Server software upgrade
The robot / measurement server software version numbers can be verified in the Robot drop down menu of the DASY8 Module HAC software. 
If the actual and expected versions differ, please perform an upgrade as described in the DASY8 Module SAR manual.
