Dear valued customer,

This file explains how to install cDASY6 Module mmWave V3.2.2.2358 on DASY6 systems.

IMPORTANT:

We kindly recommend to carefully follow the steps described within this ReadMe 
file in order to achieve a smooth and successful installation of all software 
components.

The "cDASY6 Module mmWave Installer" from the download site https://speag.swiss/downloads/dasy/dasy6-download-2 contains the latest software.

NOTE:
It is not necessary to uninstall any older versions of cDASY6 Module mmWave. This installer  provides a complete new installation of cDASY6 Module mmWave and installs it onto the local harddisk into a separate directory.

STEP 1: cDASY6 software installation
The software version number can be verified in the “Help” / “About”-menu. 
The version will be called V3.2.2.2358 after a successful installation

STEP 2: Confirm Software Update
On 1st software startup, the following message might be displayed: "New software version is activated. Preference file is updated, please confirm with OK button. If no new version was installed, contact SPEAG (support@speag.swiss) before any further action.". Please confirm by pressing "OK". This message will not longer be displayed afterwards.

STEP 3: Graphics Card Update
Forward Transform Scans and the Equivalent Source Reconstruction algorithm require a graphics card that supports CUDA. The CUDA drivers are part of the cDASY6 Module mmWave installer. Proper graphics card configuration can be verified in cDASY6 Module mmWave. For this type "import pyrec.cuda_helpers" in the console. Your graphics card should be listed.

STEP 4: Robot / Measurement Server software upgrade
The robot / measurement server software version numbers can be verified in the Robot drop down menu of the cDASY6 Module mmWave software. 
If the actual and expected versions differ, please perform an upgrade as described in the Server Upgrade cDASY6 folder contained in the cDASY6 Module mmWave V3.2 installation folder.
