NEAR-FIELD PROBES

SPEAG has pioneered the research and development of electromagnetic probes. All probes have been optimized by means of full-wave 3D simulations to achieve maximum spherical isotropy with avoidance of or compensation for any field distortion from mounting materials. Special techniques have been developed to minimize secondary modes of reception. Only the best low-loss materials are used, making the probes very rigid and compatible with almost any media. SPEAG has also pioneered the calibration techniques that enable the most-precise measurement of electric, magnetic, dosimetric, and temperature quantities.

SAR PROBE - EX3D

Smallest isotropic E-field probe for high precision specific absorption rate (SAR) measurements in any exposure scenario (e.g., very strong gradient fields); the only probe that enables compliance testing for frequencies up to 6 GHz with precision of better than 30%

FREE-SPACE - ER/EF3D

Isotropic E-Field Probe for general near-field measurements. Different versions cover frequencies from 10 MHz up to 3 GHz. Sensors, small dipoles, are oriented in a Cartesian coordinate system that provides both field components as well as total field value with the highest precision.

Frequency range: 10 MHz  3 GHz (ER3DV6); 10 MHz  6 GHz (EF3DV3)

Isotropic H-field probes for general near-field measurements in air or liquids. Different versions cover frequencies from 10 MHz up to 3 GHz. All H-field probes are based on three concentric loops that are resistively loaded for linear response.

Frequency range: 200 MHz  3 GHz (H3DV6); 40 MHz  1 GHz (H3DV7); 10  600 MHz (H3DV8)

Dynamic range: 0.01 – 2 A/m at 1 GHz; 0.01  5 at 128 MHz; 0.08  40 at 13.56 MHz
